How does AutoCount e-Invoice Platform (AIP) works?

AutoCount AIP which was developed in association with the official LHDN e-Invoice Software Development Kit (SDK), fills the gap between companies and the LHDN by allowing e-Invoices to be directly submitted to the LHDN MyInvois system via the well-known AutoCount software interface. The creation of Standard, Consolidated, and Self-Billed e-Invoices is covered by this functionality. Users will soon be able to conduct transactions using Peppol standard invoicing, which will improve interoperability throughout the Peppol ecosystem.

SYSTEM HIGHLIGHTS

AUTOCOUNT E-INVOICE MODULE
  • Will be implemented as a module like feature
  • Only available for Account Book under country – Malaysia
  • Can enable from Tools > Options > General > Country & Tax Section
  • Will implement a start date for e-invoice, similar to GST Start Date and SST Start Date
TAX ENTITY & TIN FUNCTION

METHOD 1

  • Can manual create Tax Entity and link to Debtor, Creditor and own company

METHOD 2

  • Get TIN function to request customer or supplier to fill in such details
CONSOLIDATED E-INVOICE
  • Support 5 different document types:
    • Invoice | Cash Sale | Debit Note | Credit Note | POS
  • User select a period to run consolidate and system will calculate based on the transactions in the period.
    • Any transactions that does not have TIN provided will be included in this consolidation
SELF-BILLING E-INVOICE

New function to support self-billing

  • Inherit approval process from Invoice as an additional layer of control for submission to IBRM

Support to copy from Purchase Invoice and Cash Book (PV)

Self-billing transaction will not have any GL posting or Stock posting

POS E-INVOICE

Support both on the spot and post-transaction request of e-invoice

  • Handled by POS frontend counter
  • Function to call out and key in business or individual details

Post-transaction request

    • Handled by AIP server
    • A QR code will be printed in receipt to support such request
    • Scanning the QR code will lead the buyer to fill in details for e-invoice purpose
    • After process is done, will email the e-invoice to the buyer

e-Invoice Submission status

    • An inquiry function to lookup all e-invoice submission records
    • Can also act as an Audit trail or log report to trace submission
    • Support filters such as:
      • Date
      • Status
      • Keyword
      • Document Type
    • Records can be exported to Excel
