📢 New Amendments in AutoCount Cloud Payroll

The Malaysian Government has introduced several updates to the SOCSO (PERKESO) and EIS contribution requirements.

Therefore, AutoCount Cloud Payroll has been updated to support these latest changes.

Below are the three key updates.

1. Updated SOCSO & EIS Salary Ceiling

First, starting from the September payroll, the salary ceiling for SOCSO and EIS contributions has increased from RM4,000 to RM5,000.

As a result, employers should update their payroll settings before processing payroll.

Fortunately, AutoCount Cloud Payroll is already updated with the latest contribution table.

2. New PERKESO Upload Feature

Next, AutoCount Cloud Payroll now supports a new upload option through the PERKESO Portal.

Instead of uploading SOCSO and EIS separately, employers can submit both in a single file.

Consequently, the submission process is faster and easier.

3. Transition Period

Meanwhile, employers have a transition period to comply with the new contribution rates.

The transition period starts on 1 September 2022 and ends on 28 February 2023.

During this period, employers should review payroll settings carefully.

In addition, payroll records should follow the latest contribution requirements.
